Location:
Noppikoski in Orsa Finnmark, Dalarna is located about 320 km north, northwest of Stockholm. Its about 70 km north from Mora, which is the nearest airport. Mora lies next to lake Siljan, one of the larger lakes in Sweden. Dalarna is the gegraphical region. The closest community is Orsa, where about 7 000 people live.
Noppikoski itself has 7 inhabitants.
How to get here:
One easy way is to fly to Stockholm or Vasteras. Rent a minivan or car and drive the 320 km north to Orsa, Noppikoski, which will take about 4 hours. You may also fly a 40-minute domestic flight to Mora airport, which is situated about 70 km from Noppikoski and let our guide pick you up.
Since the minimum number in a group is 4, it is feasible and quite simple to share a car or minivan.
International flights:
Fly to Stockholm, Arlanda airport, which is the major airport in Sweden. All major airlines operate to Arlanda. There is also a possibility to fly Ryanair www.ryanair.com to Stockholm/Vasteras or Stockholm/Nykoping local airports. You may drive all the way from Stockholm as well, it’s a 320 km drive in car, which will take about 4,5 hours.
Domestic flights:
You have several options, www.nextjet.se fly from Arlanda to Mora airport, about 1 hour carride south of Noppikoski and to Sveg airport, about 1 hour carride north of Noppikoski. Well in Mora or Sveg, you need to take the inland bus, rent a car of helicopter to Noppikoski.
From Sveg, you take the Inland bus no 45 (Inlandsexpressen), going south to Mora. Get off in Noppikoski, the trip takes about an hour (75 km). www.krtrafik.se
From Mora you take the Inlandbus no 45 (Inlandsexpressen), going north to Sveg, Östersund. Get off in Noppikoski, the trip takes about one hour (70 km) www.krtrafik.se

Rent a car
You may rent a car, can be done at either of the domestic airports or arrange a pick-up with us.
Helicopter.
Another way, faster, but more costly of course is to fly with helicopter from Stockholm (or Mora) to Noppikoski. That is truly a wonderful flight and takes about 1 hour from Stockholm. If you prefer we can arrange all of this or let our guide pick you up at the airport of your choosing.
Train.
Check out www.sj.se which is the swedish national railsystems. You need a ticket going from Stockholm - Mora. Well in Mora you still need a pick-up or rentalcar.
Local transportation out in the wilderness
We take care of that.
We use small quadbikes, 125cc, 4wheel motorcycles, Yamaha Breeze. It is made for rough roads and all-terrain. If you don’t like to ride one of these, there is a possibility to sit in the trailer, behind a larger quadbike. We sometimes also use minibuses when necessary.
